Thanks Andrea, anything using the hands and eye I love and enjoy. Never had a decent education with alway moving, even going to Art School fell through because we moved. Becoming a joiner was the best option for me after a spell in the armyJohn, you have a fine all round artist disposition. :thumb2:
My only, and very poor, link to those artist's qualities is that my sister is an architect, :rolling: while I'm with JayCee and Andrew when it comes to drawing.
My warmest compliments.
Andrea
Spelling Chris, if it wasn't for spell check I'd be in deep water ! Even find instructions a night mare at times.Wow, that's beautiful John, is there no end to your talents ?
That's very kind of you to say Si, thank youA man of many hidden talents John!
Most certainly a definitive connection there between your art interests and your model building work……….. Both pretty damn good![]()
I was in my early twenties then - MN and five years in the mob behind me - now I feel I really can contribute to the thread on knowing when one feels old ... :anguished: SteveGood point.... Neither was I!!
Its one of the most historic towns in the Uk Rick, I'll PM you some photos.Just landed on this JR..........got any more you can share with us? It's the sort of scene you can walk into and sorta meander around and get to know the neighborhood.....![]()
Thanks Wabble, come the summer I might well do that.Ah...so that's where all the building talent came from. Never doubted your skills John. Occasionally taking a break from model building and sketching is a good thing so you ought to take it up again. Takes you outdoors.
Cheers,
Wabble.
That really is a great piece of art. Nice one.
Thanks both.:thumb2:Who's a clever old sod then.
Thanks Lee , apparently that applies to most on here !Fantastic drawing John... it's older than me!
