I must be a real pain in the rear with all my questions and asking for help and advice

I want to express my gratitude to the many who both take the time and trouble to help me, its much appreciated

One day i might stop asking ???? Then you will think you have gone deaf lol

Bob

Can only echo your sentiment....I was following your request for help on the PE with interest.... But kept quiet as I had nothing to add....

Thanks to all those who contributed. It was very interesting.

It's a pleasure to share the knowledge. .I just don't have much of it :smiling5:

What Mark said! I'm ambivalent about PE - placards good, boxes mmm! Don't always recognise the advantages!
Steve

That's ok, but you never listen to my advice on colour , do you ?

To be honest Bob sharing knowledge is a big part of what makes this forum a nice place to be. Asking questions is how we get the answers to help us improve.
Jim

No probs on that at all Bob ;)
If I think I know the answer I’ll post something. If I don’t, I’ll wait and learn from some that does. Questions being asked and answered is the real strength of a forum like this.
The saying is that “knowledge is power”…..but I don’t get that. Knowledge is a currency that can’t be spent unless you give it away….After all, if we don’t pass knowledge on it dies with us. No one inherits it. You can’t lose it as tax, and St Peter won’t be interested because he knows everything already :thumb2:

Cambridge English definition:

"forum noun [C] (MEETING)
a situation or meeting in which people can talk about a problem or matter especially of public interest:"
I think that describes our forum succinctly, although maybe not public! If I know an answer - I'll post - if not I'll lurk and learn! I'm more than happy to share ideas & techniques - The day you think you know it all is the day you don't need a forum
Keep those questions coming Bob!!!
