Hi all,

First dio to be posted from me...probably the last as well! :(

The cv 11 has been staring at me for donkeys longing to be in a dio, so I thought that maybe I could stick it in a french street with some lost german soldats:oops: who had commandeered it!

Here's the cv 11, tips and comments welcome:)

Sorry Monica, I painted it ages ago and for the life of me I can't remember what I used:confused:.

Thanks for everyone's interest and encouragement;).

Its got a good shine on it.

As Monica, I think you got the colour of the leather rather good.

A pity that the black paintwork is so uneven. You might of gotten away with it if it was not as shiny. If its only like that on the roof, if could pay to rub it down and get it more even abd give it a new coat of black and gloss.

What scale is the Citroen Lee? I built this in 1/48 some time ago. It's a great looking vehicle and will a good subject for your dio.

Look forward to seeing more.

Cheers

It's 1/35 (sorry Paul, my bad:oops:). There's no pe in sight, its all hand brushed, so no airbrushes were harmed in this build...or any of my builds actually!.

All figures will be kit, except for the odd chop here and there.

Patrick, I'm working on the arrest! Just putting the evidence together;)

Cheers all

Looks nice Lee, he's got the perfect ' up to no good ' look about him!

Cheers

Patrick

He does look a shifty character and nicely painted too, as is the Citroen. All looking good so far Lee.

That Citroen is looking shinier than my Golf! How did you do the base Lee? It looks ace!

Cheers

Patrick

The base is a cheat sheet from hundreds of years agoo_O it's 72nd brick sheet, I smudged it over with Tamiya XF57 buff, once dried I went over it with Tamiya XF68 NATO BROWN, it was then weathered with Tamiya weathering master light sand, it's now been PVA'd (diluted) very fine dust and Hornby ballast...phew! Not sure whether to finish it or leave it?

As for the shine on the citroen, it's Humbrol 21 gloss black, the chrome work was metal cote buffed up.

Thanks for your time

Lee:)
