Just come home and I'm waiting for dinner, this thread has got my belly rumbling!

Sausage and bacon between doorsteps with HP sauce.

Saying that I have probably had more cheese and pickle granary sandwiches than anything else.

The misus does a mean egg salad and pepper mixed jobbie which I wouldn't dream of doing but it's lovely.

The most unhealthy one that I can't help getting every time I go to my local cafe at work is a crispy bacon, cheese, tomato, jalapeño, mayo and pepper all toasted in a ciabatta.... Bad but delicious!

Wow. I feel like I am reading recipes in a different language. Half of this stuff doesn't make a lick of sense to these colonial ears....

Anyway, here are a couple of my favorites:

Peanut butter and Miracle Whip (like mayo, but sweeter) on white or full grain bread.

Tri-tip on a toasted roll with Mo's Sweet Carolina BBQ sauce.

Good old BLT on wheat or squaw bread with a bit of mayo.

Chicken, cheese and bacon in a hot chiabatta bread. Chicken fried in the bacon fat. A good spread of Helmans majo.

A good breakfast one cheese fried egg and bacon in fresh white .

At the end of the working week, I treat myself to smoked salmon, in a brown roll. It tells me, the weekend is nearly here.
