the thing with these rubber band tracks. You can't glue them, you can't paint them and they are tough to fit.

Back when I still used them, I had no trouble painting Tamiya tracks with acrylic paints. Fitting them is also very easy: remove the idler wheel from the model (it’s Tamiya, so they’re held on by poly caps), hook the track over the sprocket, then put the idler into the track and use it to pull the track so you can pop the idler back onto the model.

Jakko Thanks for the tips they helped but I still hate vinyl tracks.

I am calling this one finished. Excellent fun with the painting although many would say it's a bit over the top with the wear and tear. Anywho,,,





It will probably be another couple of years before I build another one.

Loved following this build. Whilst the weathering and chipping is not something I would have a go at, yet, I can only admire the artistry. Poor old girl has been through some acid rain and mud thats for sure. Very impressive stuff
