Missed this Joe but now caught up. That's a great looking interior. Good progress all round.

Hi Joe.
Looking good mate.Must have been a strange thing to drive with that steering wheel in that position!

John
I know, I thought the same thing even after doing some research to make sure that I had it in the correct position… In addition, looking out of the vision ports had to be extremely difficult… Very small cramped half track for troops

Hi Joe, your build is coming along nicely. The interior is looking fantastic, looks like you are enjoying the build.

Ferret armoured car has the steering wheel like that so there must be a good reason for it
In the days before power steering heavy vehicles had flat steering wheels. Look at buses for example . This was so the driver could pull on them to more effectively generate power to move the wheels. In a cramped vehicle with a sloped front like this, the reversed angle was probably as close to that as the manufacturer could get.

Good evening everyone...my sincere apologies for not being seen here for quite some time...Some (life happens kinda crap) issues that prevented me from getting any bench time. but finally found the time to put together the pesky tedious tracks, get them painted and installed along with the tool clamps, tools and other tidbits and painting along the way. I didn't like the kit lifting hooks or tie down handles so I replaced them with some Tiger Model Design (shameless plug) aftermarket ones.
The start of some dirt and weathering as well. Hopefully things will get better and I'll be able to push on with this half track. Happy Modelling everyone.
