Finished my Hellcat a few days after John's, not as flash as his but armed to the teeth ;)

This was my first Hobbyboss aircraft kit and all said and done it was a great kit, the detail was just enough to make me happy and the decals were easy enough to work with.

Anyway hope you like it.

Great Hellcat Ade nicely finished weathered and painted presented on a simple but effective base. I especially like the invasion stripes. One to be proud of well done mate.

You have done yourself a fantastic wildcat there and I liked the weathering.

Top marks

Robert :) :) :) :) ;)

Turned out nice again. Hobbyboss, not one I've tried either, I think.

Very nice model Adrian. Very smooth paint job and I like the restrained and subtle effects which give an authentic look.

A great build Adrain, looks Awesome

Cheers John.

looks superb, Adrian, great build real like the camo and look of just the right amount of weathering very well done, :)

Hi Adrian

Thats a fabulous Hellcat with a great paint finish. The camo and invasion stripes are superbly done.

I apologise but I missed the build thread but I'm assuming the invasion stripes on the starboard side have been partially painted over deliberately (the profile called out for this?)

The scheme on this is really attractive (not many RAF hellcats out there) and as you say this kitty is properly armed to the teeth!

Cheers

All the invasion stripes are decals and were like that from the box, I have no idea why. If anyone could shed some light on this I'd appreciate :)

Adrian

Very nicely done.

Invasion stripes were often applied a bit wonky, presumably that is the case for this example.

Hi Adrian

I agree with Brian. This looks like the camo has been painted over at some later stage. It looks as though part of the green camouflage has been painted over too as green camouflage shape doesn't continue as it should. It's obvious that you've followed the scheme properly and this is how it should appear.

Again, outstanding Hellcat

Cheers
