discussion Airfix 1:24th Motors? Do not open, Virus warning!!!!!

I have two of these motors but I want one to spin in the opposite direction, is this possible and if so how would I do this?

Should work for a simple DC motor which I assume the Airfix one is.

Not the only one Ade, I too have wired up motors for my RC boats wrongly and then hit forward on the transmitter only the for the boat to go shooting backward...one day I may learn...but doubt it.

I actually want one to go opposite, these will be for the props on my Osprey build so each one spins opposite to the other.

It's suprising how many people still post even when it says Warning Virus, it's like the red button don't push syndrome!!!

You could always try pushing the drive shaft through the centre of the commutator so that it sticks out of the back, then turn the motor round (if you prefer complicated solutions, that is.)
