Very nice work Dave. Only thing missing is the rust they came out of the factory with!

Nicely done Ford, brings back memories for me, never had that one but I had two of the mark 2 models, 1 Zephyr 6 and 1 Zodiac.

PS you are just up the road from me, I live in Selkirk.

Andy.

Thanks everybody.

In the Fifties I was born and raised 3 miles from Fords of Dagenham and so I saw a lot of "Dagenham Dustbins"! My mother still lives in the same house but there aren't so many Fords in the neighbourhood.

My father had lots of Fords and I well remember his Zephyr 4. My best friend's father had a gold Zodiac and that was the reason for my choice of colour.

Andy, I used to do a lot of walking in Selkirk, especially going to The Three Brethren which remains my favourite. Haven't been there for a while though.

Dave

Great job (I nearly bought one of these back in the day, it was a pastel yellow and was more rust than car, still nearly bought it, luckily my dad talked me out of it)
Thanks for rekindling that memory.
