Calling this one finished.Ive resisted the urge to do loads of weathering.Although it might have covered up the silvering on some of the decals.Im rather annoyed with myself about that as I'm usually careful to get them on right. The kit itself is not bad. The only real problem is the cockpit insert. If I make another one I will glue it in slightly proud of the surrounding fuselage and fill the gaps with plastic card. That way I would be able to rescribe the lost panel lines after all the sanding.Because I used a lot of filler I couldn't get a nice scribed line so left it.

Well done mate

A fantastic build Dave! how on earth did you manage to get the no walk area lines so straight?

I adopted a no beer whilst decaling strategy!.And it helped that the decals were good quality and in lots of straight sections.

That's a cracker Dave.

Still can't believe you started this 'on the road'.

It's a lovely looking aircraft the Canberra too.

Really cool

Looks very fine to me Dave!

Nice finish as well, I take it that's the alclad Matt? Do you really rate it then?

I've used Alclad matte cote on my last 8 builds. Its given a perfect Matt finish every time.Ive sprayed it over enamels,Acrylics and the oil paints I use for weathering with no problems at all.Ive found two light coats is enough to give a good Matt finish. And it dries quickly.Alclad gloss cote is quite good as well.

Dave, that is a real gem. Love the build finish, and enjoyed watching the build thread. Now you need to get a Raspberry Ripple one :)
