Airfix 1:72 Hawker siddeley Buccaneer S.2b / s.2d / s mk.50

Does anyone know if this model is new tool ? I need a Buccaneer for another threesome !

Hi colin, its not a new one, dating from the late eighties, but is considered to be better than the matchbox kit.The only other option in 1/72 is the eye wateringly expensive CMR resin kit at about £40 !!!! would this trio by any chance all be wearing desert pink camo? cheers tony

I've never heared of the cmr one, but I'll have a look. For 40 squid it must be an amazing kit ! And yes, all three will be desert pink. I've already done the Tornado. Just got my hands on a Tamiya / Revell Jaguar, not as well detailed as the Tornado but OK. So now I need a good 1:72 Bucaneer.
