My build of the Airfix 1/72 MiG-17F 'Fresco' (A03091A)

A 2024 boxing finished as an Indian Air Force machine. There was very little that I enjoyed about this build, particularly the fit of the engine exhaust, the canopy wouldn't sit properly due to the pilot and seat being too high and the main undercarriage which I couldn't get straight on one side! There were too many stencils for my liking so I left some out. Came out okay in the end.

Join the Migs GB later this year and have a go at another Mig! OK I may be biased, it is my GB

It doesn’t show the faults you mentioned, looks a nice little build - but a tail sitter too. Good job, Sir,

I only have one MiG in my stash and that is an Airfix 1/48 Fresco so I may be able to join in the MiGs GB.
