





I remember some of the tracks at Barry Island were laid just to store the scrap locos, so the spacing of the sleepers was all over the place and the rails weren't level.the scrap yards I used to pass had locos lined up , the ballast was the last thing on the workers mind



Thanks for posting this Tony. Strange how it spent more time waiting to be scrapped than it did workingEnjoying watching this build taking shape, it's to your usual (superb) build standard.
The 9F was a very impressive locomotive, I only ever saw one 92207, when it was at the East Lancashire Railway, albeit in poor condition.
