I returned to model making a few years before I found this site.Found I had reached a point where i didnt know how to improve.Plus I was fed up having nobody to talk models with. Then I had a search on the Internet and found this site.Ive learnt a lot from the members on here and am more into the hobby than I have ever been.I was nearly blacked after my first post though.Have had to restrain my humour a bit since!.

What mark is your Seafire?.i know some Tempests had the upper half of the cockpit painted black.Hopefully someone who knows what they are talking about will be able to give you an answer.

This might not be much help. But there's a build of a Seafire mk47 on modellingmadness.com .The modeller has painted the cockpit interior green and the sidewalls black from the door hinge line upwards.

All the bulkheads and engine mounts are indeed interior green.

And the cock pit was half green half black (blackgrey)
