Looks like you are beating it into submission! Those intakes certainly look like a lot of fun.

Artistic license

Well steve, the air intakes aren't fun, but strangley satisfying - I just never got bored sanding and filling then more sanding etc........

Anyway, the landing gear is complete. However artistic license has been stretched to the limit, the gear is meant to be gloss black. But I didn't like it, so I changed it. I mean, surley these bits got at least a bit dirty ??

That looks a bit of a tricky kit. Bet you will make it look great though. I think the undercarriage looks perfect how you have done it, they look realistic to me.

looks like youre winning colin , ive read about the intakes being a nightmare but you look like youve got them lovely , well done ,looking forward to seeing the next instalment, cheers tony

Undercarriage looks fine. 99 times out of 100 black is just, well, too black on a scale model. I hardly ever use it,some kind of dark grey always looks better.

You can never have enough filling,sanding,filling..............

Colin, Keep up the good work, one small point, in the photo of the Tail you showed, if you want to be historically accurate and you are still going for a White finish, then the ECM's at the top of the Tail did not exist. They were added when the Vulcan’s went from high altitude to low altitude defence after the U2 incident, have a look at my photos’. They flew for a few years in camo without the ECM's. Look forward to seeing more of your photos’ Derek

Not to worry Derek, it's already gone. I thought it would be easier to remove after I had joined the two halves together. Removing it makes the Vulcan look even more sleek ! Tonight I hope to spray the Vulcan - the paint only took a week to arrive !
