The machine of Werner Woss in ww1, 1916, with a total of 38 confirmed victories. Coloured in combination enamel and acrylic paint. The effects were done with oil paint. Some parts have been replaced due to being oversized.

Cheers, Ivica

Very nicely done Ivica. I built the Eduard Albatros some time ago in a much more colourful scheme but it was nowhere near as good as yours. The paint job is excellent with very realistic shading. Superb work.

That is a fabulous model Ivica. I can't let my wife see it though. She likes WWI aircraft and has got me to make a couple in 1:72 (she did buy them though :-) ) , and to a new modeller like myself, biplanes are difficult ! :) I will admit, I didn't bother with the rigging !!

Fantastic build ivica! , Excellent paintwork , 5 star job. cheers tony

No way am I one of the masters :) Far far from it, but having built a couple of biplanes I am amazed at the quality of your Albatros. Great job.

Excellent work Ivica! very well built and painted. That rigging looks fantastic, what did you use for the wires?

Five big shiny stars from me too!

Ian M (more and old fart than an old master).

That weathering is beautiful. Subtle yet effective and giving superb looking metallic and fabric textures. I particularly like the shading and weathering on the white, always tricky but you have got it spot on.

Absolutely amazing model.

Not sure how I missed this one!

Beautiful model, very well done to you.

Cheers

Hi Ivica, to achieve a finish like that tells me that it was a labour of love. Outstanding work and paintwork especially. A well deserved 5 Star. Cheers Derek

Uh, how much you praised me. Thank you once again. True Derek, each working with a lot of love, a biplane, these are special challenges.

The fuselage was made exclusively with oil paints and filters based on the enamel (Master Model). To finish I used the MM acrylic gloss varnish.

To answer Ian, riging is made of stretched sprue, thickness 0.12 mm. Heated by the candle and stretched by hand.

I'm glad that you like. I am currently working Nieuport Ni 16, and he will soon.

Cheers

Ivica
