I thought this might be of interest to some.I'm about to paint my Lightning with Alclad. The fin and fuselage spine need to be painted white first for ease of masking.I was worried that Alclad black primer would react with the Vallejo White primer I intend using for the white areas. So I sprayed two coats of the white on a test piece and left it over night to dry. Then this morning I sprayed a heavy coat of Alclad Black primer over the white.I deliberately sprayed too heavy a coat in order to get plenty of the solvent on the white primer. As you can see in the photo below, there has been no adverse reaction between the two paints.I also used my old Badger Anthem airbrush as I was worried the cellulose thinners I used to clean the air brush would damage my Iwata.
