Just realised it's been 18 months since I last posted anything here, anyhoo in the meantime I recently completed Tamiyas 1/48 F-15C in the Oregan National Airguard anniversary scheme.
Kit isn't the best and is showing it's age with both raised and recessed panel lines. Nose wheel was missing so cannibilised another kit which I have resin for. The AM decals used are thick, I think I've used more setting solution on this kit than I have in my life, there was also some not even on the sheet but if anyone realises they're missing they've outstayed their welcome......
A few firsts, tarmac was me messing with craft foam, it's OK but the kit has sunk into it a touch. And the first time I used a clay wash, I wanted to get this finished so decided to give it a try.
