Update,
Priming was done and today the top coat went on...



And the detail painting has begun, next will be the decals and then a coat of flat varnish to seal it all....

And this is the winch cover with the securing rope added, the rear screen is from a piece of yellow acetate sheet c/a'd into place. Still got the storage box tops to be added woth the large one open.

Not much to say, still getting there. Black oil wash overall and then a dry brush of the top coat, then the details like side markers added.



Now working on the wheels and tyres but first the engine and exhaust have to be added...

Forgotten update,
Before I zoom off in the private jet to my mansion in sunny LA - whoops sorry that is my other life.....
Just a few pics of the smaller work to be carried out...

My rebuilt pully's and the kit offering, some touch up to be added...

Making new headlights, the kit offerings were made of a soft toffee resin....

New fire extingusher bottles, the mis-shaped kit ones are at the top of the pic...

And finally the retaining springs for the bonnet sides.....

About two months ago we lost our good lady Mavis....

Update,
Well that is that over with for another year..... What do you do with two tins of Quality Street, a tin of Roses, a packet of Roses, a box of Maltesers, two Xmas chocolate Santa's, a chocolate cake that serves 12 - but there is only two of us, and now she tells me she is starting a diet on Monday.....
Got the fan assembled and ready for priming..

And then got the two fire extinguishers finished, primes and the main top coat on each...
