Ok then Guys,
I know what you're thinking,"Oh Gawd, not ANOTHER 109"!!...
...but I've not done one before,so I thought I'd give the Eduard "Profipack" a go :)
Anyway, enough Jibber Jabber, ere's what you get in the box...

Instructions look very nicely done, you get a really good colour set of options for 5 aircraft, I'm going for the Witchy one on the box there, simply because Rach loves anything "Witch related"!!...

Lots of goodies are supplied, and all look to be very nicely done :) With all of that I don't think you really need anything else, although I did get myself an A.M. pilot.....

I always like to have crew in my planes ;) ... Next, the sprues...
IMG20231222150542.jpg
...again,looks very crisp....

... again,good details...

...and the final sprue...

So there you have it, should be fun, although,if it's anything like Andy T's 110,I may be in for a bit of a fight!!?
Anyway, let's get stuck in,as always, anyone who'd like to follow along will be more than welcome, cheers for now.....

It looks to be a well moulded kit, with good detail, so you should be ok, hopefully :smiling2:

NICE!!!! I see my ProfiPack corruption continues to bear fruit!

Being rude, how much was the pilot. I like a pilot and it's interesting to see this designed for the kit!

Yes it has !!
I can't remember exactly, but it was about a tenner, and I have to say, having just cut the bits off the blocks,it looks very nice  ... here's their destructions..

Might have to a look but given that I have 22 Eduard 1/48 kits in the stash and there a couple with a crew of two.....it could get expensive.....;) :surprised:

HA!! Yes it would, although I only bought this guy because he was "custom made" for this particular kit.
For my other planes, that don't have aircrew provided,I use some 3D printed generic pilots,i have many in the stash and, generally, they are passable.. but not great!! ;)

HA!! Me too mate!! :tears-of-joy: :thumb2:
Looks a good kit Andy. The 110 kit is quite a bit older than this one, so it should be fine……check your references as well. I seem to recall that the 109 had a welded seam along the top and bottom of the rear of the fuselage so you won’t need to fill and sand that bit.

Looks like a lovely box of goodies there andy , scalemates says its a 2012 new tool so a bit newer than the bf110 andy had a bit of grief with .Should build up lovely , looking forward to seeing the progress, cheers tony

Looks good Andy. I wonder if as many Bf109 plastic scale models have ever been made as were produced for the real thing?

Well guys, I've done a bit more..
Assembled the pilot..
IMG20231224150641.jpg
Looks pretty good, only slight adjustments needed :smiling3: ..
IMG20231223174219.jpg
Some etch put on there.. I must say that I do think in a lot of this it's "etch for etch sake", although it was there so I added it!! :flushed:..next..

.... This was the closed cockpit guns,to me it looked like one side was broken?!! Couldn't really find any info to back my thoughts up,but I went ahead anyway!!..
... More to follow.... ;) ....

I have built a couple of the Eduard ProfiPACK kits and they were good. That pilot looks very nice indeed. I didn't realise that CMK made pilots for specific kits. I'll enjoy seeing how you get on.
