Wow it's nice to be back and to see some familiar faces :) And it seems like this site is going on from strength to strength.

As for me i moved into my new flat and had to put every penny towards furniture hence my absence from modelling for a while - 10 months more or less. I did do a few projects but minor ones and nothing worth getting hyped up about. But much to my surprise wince August i've been sent all over the place to train people in Japan, Kazakhstan, China and Ukraine. But i'm back in Moscow now with my family. My wife even designed a modelling desk for me which was built in my absence. She's kicking herself in the teeth now after i told her that a nice new Iwata airbrush and compressor, stack of models to "catch up on the hobby," new tools etc would be a nice complement to a new work station :) )

But i'm back to stay now to concentrate on the hobby.. and my family of course. :)

Hope to hear from some of you guys :)

Paul

Good to see you here Ron and i'll definately be looking forward to seeing your masterpieces again :) Are you still brush painting your models or have you been forced to try out an airbrush yet? :)

Don't worry Tony, your secret's safe.. except for all those reading this :)

Good to hear from you Richy. I'd sure like to meet all the new members. Like you said, it's why i missed the forum so much due to people's kindness and selflessness. I only arrived back home la few days ago and will do my best to get back into the swing of things :) Funnily enough, when i stayed in Japan, i foind loads of modelshops and they selll everyyyyyything so i sent back boxes of stuff to Moscow knowing bits and pieces in Russia are hard to come by. :)

Likewise here. I am never too far from the best model forum going.

So what kind of modelling are you into Tony? I've mostly done armour but i've got a few planes in my stash. Am going to paint my P-51B tomorrow and start building my Hasegawa Typhoon. I'm not very good at planes. I posetd some pics of my Tropical Spitfire ages ago and it's the only plane i've done so far. I guess with armour there are more chances of hiding mistakes :)
