Hi all I’m new to this forum been away from kit building due other commitments but have now got the time back again.
Thought I’d start back with a fairly quick and simple one just to get back into it . I’m happy to answer questions and like honest opinions ideas pointers and tips He’s the progress so far . Looking great. I like an Escort (never built a plastic one though) and I've never seen a Belkit built, so it will be nice to see this come together. I do agree though, at this price, an engine might have been nice.

Looking nice. May I ask what paints are you using. My biggest issue is that I could never achieve good coat of glossy varnish (I am using Vallejo model air). Mostly it turns out to be with orange peel. :(

Hi I tend to use a bit of a mix tbh for the most part I used Tamiya acrylics especially if I’m airbrushing parts but I do brush paint with them as well . I do use Humbrol enamels a bit to . For the body though I use zero paints primer then base coat and then there 2 pack clear . I’ve never used any model air paints so I don’t know what they are like but a lot seem to like them .
I use a badger 155 airbrush pressure at 32 psi .
