Bf 109 E-4 (Airfix 1/48)

There you go.
I knew as soon as Steve was back with us, he'd be yer man to help with WW2 aircraft questions.

Top man Steve, thanks.

Thanks guys, I finished the 109 today! :thumb2:

First a panel-wash and Matt-finish was added...

I added some navigation lights too:
base color (1), Micro Kristal Klear added (2), more or less glossy effect (3)...

Then I unmasked the canopy and added the loose parts.
I had a bad moment and damaged the aerial-mast, exhaust, air-intake and one wheel :poop::tongue-out3:...
But I was able to fix those things :thumb2:.

I made an antenna wire from thin 'sewing thread'.
I did an effort to simulate those ... detail 'things' left and right. These were made from layers of glue-drops...

And here the model is finished - I will add some more pictures in the Completed Section (link) ...

Thanks for reading and input!
Kind regards,
Steven

Lovely job on this, especially the arial cable, the insulators really lift it to another level....

That really is a superb job Steven. I'm just deciding which 1/48 109 to go for and that Airfix one looks pretty good
