Where do I start first of all it's big very very big.
It's 188cm long or 6 feet 2 inches in old money.
I won't be building anything yet as it will take me a few months to get everything sorted
Right on with the contents.
What I was confronted with on opening the box IMG_20230607_180206.jpg
Next 2 instruction books IMG_20230607_180220.jpg
2 full sized plans one picturedIMG_20230607_180231.jpg
Funnels and as they are round there is a little jig to shape them.
Plus life boats.

Two packs of brass fittings and the two outer propsIMG_20230607_180350.jpgIMG_20230607_180337.jpg
The phone etch and lots of it IMG_20230607_180608.jpgIMG_20230607_180651_edit_3209258567218.jpg

And finally more brass tubes. IMG_20230607_180801_edit_3195652147949.jpg

It will be a very interesting build to follow. Certainly a lot of work. Not a quick weekend build that's for sure.

Well that looks a whole lot of fun. Should last you a couple of days.... The big question: Are you going to put R/C in her and sail her?

I shall take a year or two to finish and as for radio control out of my league I am afraid even if I could I have nowhere to sail her and I couldn't even get her in the back of the car

OH no R/C Peter thats a pity an yes you have a small car but could you not make her in two halves like i do as then you will have only two 3 ft secitons to get in your car an no pond near you ? oh what a pity but will follow your build all the same have fun on this build
chrisb ps Peter how many titanics have you built now ?

Impressive kit, Peter. Not my kind of build but I'll follow your progress with interest.
...think you'd better knock on wood before starting... :rolling:
Taxi!

P.S.: :tongue-out3:

I have finally broken some wood by constructing the jig for shaping the funnels and the fun bit is squashing the brass tube into shape even though its only 0.5 mm it's very tough. IMG_20230613_182015.jpgIMG_20230613_182027.jpg
