Billings boats 1/144 RMS Titanic

This will be another interesting and impressive project Peter. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress. You’ll be picking dry white glue off your fingers for a few weeks I think!
Great stuff

Number one funnel finished and painted but not happy with the colour so I will repaint it IMG_20230614_182523.jpgIMG_20230614_182515.jpgIMG_20230614_191912.jpgIMG_20230614_191911.jpgIMG_20230614_191904.jpgIMG_20230614_191901.jpg

I have just received some planking as I have decided to plank my decks so I will see how far this batch will go so I know how much to order. IMG_20230617_133527.jpg
And I have started on the fore deckIMG_20230617_143729.jpg
And is only 80 planks to lay

Fore deck planking finished IMG_20230618_093103.jpg
And now for one of the three forward steam winches here are all of parts just for one IMG_20230618_111521.jpgIMG_20230618_111526.jpg

You're doing a great job. It's a very complex time consuming build but you're making good progress. Funnel and decking are excellent.

That's the fore deck finished for now I need to some smaller details but I will do that nearer the end of the build IMG_20230621_194214.jpg
Now I just need to find a flat place that is 6 feet long to start the main hull

A bit of 26mm floor sheeting makes a good building board. Some times you can be lucky and find one that the T&G has been damaged for cheep. Or a cheep counter top that has had a knock on the front or top...

This afternoon I finally broke wood and started the Hull and I have found a suitable place to build it.
So far I am up to frame 28.IMG_20230622_150724.jpgIMG_20230622_181832.jpgIMG_20230622_194827.jpg
