I have got the funnels kind of in the right shape 
And the parts for no1 funnel.

A very impressive kit Peter, I'm now sat watching this one, nice start also.
Number one funnel finished and painted but not happy with the colour so I will repaint it 
Funnel looks good but as you say the colour looks a tiny bit pink to me on my screen that is. Which paint did you use Pete?

I had mine mixed by an automotive paint company so I have gone back to my tamiya buff witch is good enough for.
I have just received some planking as I have decided to plank my decks so I will see how far this batch will go so I know how much to order.

You're doing a great job. It's a very complex time consuming build but you're making good progress. Funnel and decking are excellent.

That's the fore deck finished for now I need to some smaller details but I will do that nearer the end of the build 
Now I just need to find a flat place that is 6 feet long to start the main hull

A bit of 26mm floor sheeting makes a good building board. Some times you can be lucky and find one that the T&G has been damaged for cheep. Or a cheep counter top that has had a knock on the front or top...
This afternoon I finally broke wood and started the Hull and I have found a suitable place to build it.
So far I am up to frame 28.
