Flippen eck Chris. Plain as day to see the problem there.
It's the doogamaflip that connects to the whatsit when its in parallel to the thingamabob.
If you can't see that!!!!! :rolling: :smiling2: :smiling2: :smiling2:

But seriously Chris - I wouldn't even know where to start even wiring one motor never mind four!! Onwards and upwards my friend, she will sail again, no pooping fuses and turn on a sixpence!! :thumb2:
Doug its easy once youve wired up these motors about a dozen times an four motors peice of cake its just that they have got to work in the first place without a dodgy motor causein probs an the fuses were doin what they were designed to do an when i fit in new R/C plug socket the rudder should work so she should turn tighter but time will tell

Well Chris you are lot better with the electrickery that I am, but for what it's worth, on my Iron Duke I used 2 x 550 29 turn Injora motors (brushed) with 2 x 480A ESC's all off Aliexpress.
I can only wish you the very best in getting it all sorted though.

AN HI Garry thank you for your nice comments but TBH some of my probs on my tiger eletrics is my own fault as i in previous models like my big nimitz an my present norfolk i used new ELETRONIZE ESC an NEW GRAOUPNER MOTORS but now BECAUSE THESE UNITS ARE NOT MADE ANY MORE I CANT BUY THEM TO FIT IN THE MODEL

so i ive been tryin to find their replacments in what is bein SOLD NOW an TBH i spent qiute a bit of dosh on some ESC that were not up to the job an then to cut down exspenditure i cut corners on the motors as again i bought 4 motors AGAIN THAT WERE NOT UP TO THE JOB

so i thought that id try in a mixture of 2X johnsons motors an 2X gruapner speed 600 motors that my brother gave from when he was usein them in eletric flight but unknow to me had a faulty motor an he did say there might be a prob with them motors but not what the prob was an i had to find out the hard way.

Now thats why im goin to buy 4 good motors that hopefully will be up to the job of powerin a heavy tiger So will see what happens as i will have to exsperiment a sail up at sheringham pond where i can go any time if i can park not like Norwich pond which is only open to me on certain days of the yr SO HOPEIN I CAN GET SOME MORE NEW MOTORS as the ESC are up to the job anyway sorry for running on but TIGER BEIN AS HEAVY AS SHE IS IS BRINGIN A WHOLE LOAD OF NEW PROBS AS THATS WHY IVE NEVER BUILT A BIG BATTLESHIP AS WHEIGHT IN THESE TYPE OF MODELS IS THE KILLER to me anyway
ATB TO YOU Garry

OH an i think a new prob has reared up its ugly head as when i was sailing her at the pond my mate paul said he thinks i have a 3 mm gun led is blown as he said it was not flashin when gun sound went off so i may have to have that big gun turret to bits an see if it the case then i'll have to drill out the 3mm led an fit a new one cant understand this as these led are suppoced to run for thousands of hrs so can only hope he is wrong but i'll put her togeather today an do a test

Basically, I grew bugs and turned them into a treatment for childhood leukaemia. I was the subject matter expert for the fermentation and recovery stages of the process, so when the FDA and the MHRA came calling I was wheeled out to answer the awkward questions. The product was called Erwinase.
This stuff….

I think the term we're looking for is Boffin!
Respect Tim!

Chris,
Wow, wow, wow she is an absolute beauty. Your hard work has been paid back in spades. It was a pleasure following the build and watching her come together and watching you problem solving. If we had one I would present the Golden dogs award. Fantastic seeing her on the water.
No there's a thought Paul .:nerd:

LOL. I was a technician, not a scientist. Scientists came up with the ideas and I had to make them work……Your are not the only one to think that though……When they refurbished the main canteen a competition was run to give it a new name…….the winner was “Boffs”……..unfortunately that very soon morphed into “Barfs” amongst the cognoscenti…….

You're too modest Tim!
To my mind that's the definition of a Boffin

Sounds like you have it all in hand now Chris, good luck mate.

Would you like Matron to help with the fitting Chris?
She once worked in an operating theatre so is used to delving into " below decks "
Just say and I'll pass the message on .:smiling3:

An hi John an Andy well ive found the four yr journey went very quick indeed as to me it doesnt seem that long ago since i was cuttin out her keel an hull frames an yes i hope to get all them bugs sorted out but its a job to know which motors to get as they will have to be fairly powerfull to propel her on the pond esp if there is a strong wind an then i maybe back to blowin fuses so instead of 40 amp fuses i'll have to get some 50 amp fuses an hope it dont catch fire which will be right up J/R 's street lol :rolling: ;):smiling2: so really its all gonna be trail an error mostly error i think boy ive never had this kind of trouble before as i could then buy the groupner 600 motors easy but now they have stopped makin them i will have to take pot luck on some new motors an in this case it may be that the motor shaft wont line up with the prop shaft then more probs
but will see what happens
cheers to you both

G/M ALL well regardin them big fuses well i spoke to the gent who sent me them fuses an yes i can return them for a refund but he told me that 40 amp fuses is the highest they go in the standard size so no 50 amp or more so even if i fit new motors an if it still blows the 40 amp fuses due to her wheight on propload im stuck unless i do away with fuses altogether an just hope that the eletrics will take this very high currant well the ESC X 2 I KNOW SHOULD as they are rated at 320 amp so they should be ok but the wirein even though its very heavy duty an the motors may have probs SO just got to hope she dont catch fire oh dear but will see an hope for the best
