discussion BOATMANS B58 HUSTLER IN 148th scale with lights

AN here fitted in the lower wing section an now got to work out where all the lighting wires will fit in as the wings are very thin an so some different angle shots of them an now i have fitted on the main gear struts id love to see these gears in action

HI GUYS well im still fitting lights now in the tail section in the HUSTLER an ive had to pack up for a bit as got the shakes tryin to solder all these tiny wires togeather as if i pull the wires a bit to hard then the tiny wires will pull off the tiny 2mm leds so its have a rest an model room not to hot so im goin back up in a little while to carry on an solder the tiny male an female plugs on the wires an yes so far all lights ive fitted work great an here some pics of how they have been fitted in the model an first off the wires from the undercart all 8 of them glued down in the wings bottom

AN HERE the 3 lights in the tail just now got to fit a hole in the tail that will take the wires in to the fusealage an solder on the tiny eletric plugs

The wiring process looks complex Chris. Do you need to hollow any parts out to take the wires?

HI Joe yes i did burr out the very thin top of the tail where the lights are fitted but ive done this several times before so no probs an they work ok with the tail closed up

HI Tony many thanks for that link to the B58 hustler undrcarts looks great an i;ll have a study of it tommorew morn as late now an jens calling me to bed but i wish you had shown me this link last week as it would have saved me a lot of stress an brain power an reseaching but thank you sir an yes its was a crazy set up but it worked an i managded to work it all out how they operated but talk about a headacke after wards
