Help guys tell me I'm not losing my mind. the stbd side of the sub is clear why the hell is the port side of the conning tower clear ?????

Looked at a few you tubes and some people actually cut a section out of the stbd conning tower looks cr4p though so i'll just paint it and maybe have a small viewing window port side
 
If you're displaying it on a shelf, or in a case, you could put a mirror to the rear perhaps

Most odd with that conning tower.
I think you might need a couple of those paint sets. ... And a roller. lol

Morning, did a bit but got to wait for my paint to arrive primed in black! don't know why, fed up of grey I guess.

The back base coat will help perfectly with modulating the grey to give a used steel colour...nice one.
