Brian's actual 1/200 Yamato build

My word that's some detail with the PE.

The Committee are gathering to watch this unfurl.:thumb2:

Damn  sometimes I think with these expensive kits we should get some of the more delicate bits spare.
As you can guess I trashed a couple of rails on the funnel, kind of straightened them out to a fashion but rapidly lost interest and not amused
Here is the progress today.

Its difficult not to damage something when you got a load of it to do but the funnel looks ok to me. :thumb2:

That funnel was a real pain in the ass to do :smiling3: still managed to forget to mask for the black top, I'll have to brush by hand.

Looking superb Brian. The etch detail really makes a difference.
This will be an imposing display model once complete

WELL Bri if you do an i hope you will but it would be best on the yammy because of its size an will float an sail better al you would need is a about a 4 channel r/c for rudder an throttle on the motors an two channels to turn an elevate the guns an sound unit for a big bang an that would be easy as to a man of your skills from what i see of your wonderfull modeling wow
