Finished for today had a couple of hours a day and just 1 more cannon to do, have to admit I enjoyed doing them but not sorry to see the back of them till the main deck guns.

Yes a little too sparkly, going to let it age/weather Neil .......ideally I would like it a bit green
You can get verdigris liquid in art shops….might be worth a shot. Failing that, Vallejo doa verdigris wash that is pretty effective. I’d test it all well first though, don’t want to screw up all this lovely work.

Looking lovely Brian. I had no idea just how long these builds take but apparently the manufacturers, according to a guy on YT, suggest 3000 hours. I wonder how many of these kits never get built to completion, its one heck of a challenge. Keep up the good work.
At 30 hours a week, that's close to 2 years!
