This glue has been great for gluing metal parts together.

Morning chaps, or should i say afternoon started at 7:45am and just come down at 1:00pm very little to show for 5 hours the gun carriages are a pain to do and fitting the axle to the axel holder is a nightmare. Thankfully there is only 26 to do (ONLY lol)



The belaying pins and rack fitted even though they weren't used by the Royal Navy till later !!

All guns built and in place just a bit of rigging to do but that can wait till I start the main rigging.

Morning, should be finished with the rudder and therefore the hull today then on to the masts tomorrow. There seems a lot more to the SoS than the Victory but progress has been faster on the SoS.

I would imagine that your WIP seems faster on this SOS model because of the various techniques picked up and honed during your Victory build have been carried over.

This model has the makings of being a real beauty when finished.

A little while ago I was looking at the Airfix plastic kits of the Soveregn and HMS Prince to compare the scales as the two ships had a 9 year overlap when in service. The kit scales differed, so a diorama was out of the question unfortunately. It would have been nice to put both together at anchor on a base.

spot the glaring mistake even the plans are wrong lol
Had to rip it all off ......just realised the hinges are upside down and the rudder would fall off lol

Wow. Bit of a bugger is that. Good job you noticed, even if no one else would have….
Will it still fit if you correct them Brian, or do you have to move the ones on the hull as well?

Yes Tim the ones on the hull needs moving, but only nailed no glue
