Well done so far, great detail means extra fun during painting and weathering stages !

Morning Steve,

Just had a quick flip through the WWP book on FAT's (my claim to fame is that I have two pictures in it) and there is a vehicle with chequer plate flooring :thumb2:

Hi Everyone

Mike - Thanks for the vote of confidence
Jim - The PE kit is a good one
Fernando - Totally agree mate::thumb2:
Si - Thanks mate
Peter - Will do. Another update comin along
Guy - I do like painting detail so more the merrier
Simon - Wonderful news. Many thanks. Any chance you can post your book entries or is there copyright issues?

Hi Steve
Up to your usual high level of detail. Love the fire extinguisher. Trying to choose colours for military vehicles is always difficult. For some reason people get their underwear knotted, procrastinate for days, make a decision and then weather the hell out of it :smiling5:
Jim

Steve,

Just had a quick re-cap. Looking good.
I think the interior colour is what stalled my build - there is a lot on the net about different interior colour.

As for the outside - I always wanted to try the Caunter scheme!! :flushed:

Hi Everyone

Sounds just like me Jim:smiling3::smiling5:
I have done a couple of caunter schemes lately so it will be the black clouds this time Paul

Hi Steve
All the work. All the planning. All the time spent. Was it worth it? It was most definitely worth it. Interior and seats are looking superb.
Keep at it and don't forget to breathe!
Jim

Just seen this one Steve, a great idea as a tribute to your Granddad. Looks a nice kit and I like all the extra's you've got for it, also a cracking start.

The interior decorating is looking fine Steve. And as Jim said take a breather now and then.

Cheers,
Richard

Great to see you're back at this one Steve.:thumb2:
The interior looks great:hungry:, any thoughts of showing it all, doors open and such?

The mighty Peter Day once told me to hold my breath and go for it. So using Sand Yellow I made a start. However Peter didn't say anything about taking a breath so once the paramedics had been and gone I decided to take a breath every 10 seconds or so

Cheers Colin. Appreciate it
Thanks Jim. The research is going well
Great to see you Ian. Glad you like the build
Will do Richard!:smiling4::smiling3:
Fernando - One door open, top canopy open and windows open so a good view of the interior will be available
Jakko - Brilliant:smiling5:

Due to work, putting up a fence around my back garden and the Ryder Cup has prevented me from looking at the website let alone do any modelling. Its another tough one next week but I hope to get back to the bench next weekend

Hi Steve
Life is getting a bit easier now so hopefully I can crack on with this project now (Famous last words:smiling3:)
Let's hope you haven't jinxed it. For most of us modelling is important but being a hobby gets pushed to the back of time available.
Anyway quality like this will always take time. And this really is qualify.
Jim

Steve that is one hell of job and the weathering is really well executed...please keep it coming... MOOOORE... MOOORE...:smiling::smiling::smiling:

Morning Steve,
Great work with that interior, your painting has brought it to life nicely :thumb2:
