The Best cat I NEVER owned was living on the place when we moved in. Left behind by the previous owner. It was strictly an outdoor pet and never came in the house. She (Samantha) had a bed and water bowl down in the shop and she slept on an old Deer hide that was placed on top of the Fridge I store my Gunpowder in. She was a fearsome Huntress and was forever leaving us "Presentations" of what was left of her "kills" on the door mat. Every morning She would come up to the front window where we would sit and look at the view, and she would place both paws on the glass and let go with a most ferocious MEOWWWWWWW !!! That meant I want my Friskies.....before I could get to the back door with a plate of Friskies she would already be there meowing and pacing back and forth impatiently. We lost her to a careless neighbor who without thinking, put out Rat poison and she got hold of one of the dying Rats and it took her also. I buried that lovely creature in the clearing up behind our house and piled rocks on her grave to keep the other "Critters" from digging her up. I happened to be up in the clearing the other day on my 4 wheeler and I stopped by to say "Hello", to the Best Cat I Never Owned. :thumb2:
