I've just returned to model making after a break of several years, and I've found that just about all the tops on jars & bottles of liquid glue or solvents are now child proof, which are a real fiddle.

Do you know of a source of replacement 'simple' tops, or a way of glueing or jamming the childproof tops?

Perhaps I could just empty a couple of fizzy drinks bottles, and see if the caps fit the solvent bottles.

It's just a case of finger training. I used to hate them as well but can now manage most of them one handed...

Putting nasty liquids into soda pop bottles is an accident just waiting to happen...

Yes, to confirm

I have a couple of bottles of liquid glue with normal caps dating back years, one of them is nearly empty. I can decant the glue from the new style bottles into them

For solvents & thinners I'll keep them in the labelled bottles, but see if the caps from fizzy drinks bottles will fit them without leaking, and are also unaffected by the solvent

Get Mr Cement S or Tamiya Thin solvents. They just have twist tops.
