The Ye-4 is a companion piece to the Ye-2, both early MiG-21 prototypes. The Ye-4 was the first delta wing, first flown in June 1955
The kit is part of a series from the manga and anime Area-88, which is something of a jet watchers dream

The book shown is Yefim Gordon and Bill Sweetman's 'Soviet X-Planes', punbished in 1992
The other mainrefefrnce used is Bill Gunston's 'Russian Aircraft 1875-1995'

Next up for the Mig-fest will probably be a straight build of a Trumpeter F7-II, though in the most attractive scheme I've found...
