It's insurance time for the cars again. I haven't changed insurers for a while so need to have a look around. So, there must be other classic owners here, who do you insure with please ?

Why two ? Well I bought the 1.8 back in 1997. After a while working abroad I wanted a V8 so the hunt was on for an early TVR. I was having no luck finding a TVR then this V8 conversion appeared for sale which ticked all the right boxes. So I intended to buy the V8 and sell the 1.8 However, the daughters protested, deciding that when I'm dead, the daughters (2 of) will have a car each. If I ever talk of selling one, the argument starts, 'well you better sell hers, not mine' So there am I stuck. A shame really, I'd love a GT6.

As the weather has always been good for the Cosford visits, I always go in the V8.
That is great to read. There's too many out of date stories about unreliable Alfa's floating around. It's your duty Bob to spread the good news about Alfa's.
And another modern reliable Alfa. Great news. I love my Focus ST, but all this positive talk of Alfa's has got me thinking again......
That's a nice pair of MGBs Colin. I used to have a '65 MGB roadster, with a later 5-bearing engine, flared wheel arches, Starsky & Hutch paint job, floors made out of Duckhams cans flattened and pop-rivetted on, petrol tank held together with fibreglass, etc... Loved driving it but it was using as much oil as petrol (and rather a lot of both) so I sold it and a Mk 1 Vitesse to buy a friends Mk 1 Escort estate.
