Nice work Colin, I think I need to look at getting something for the back of my Stalwart.

Great work on the winch and chain. It will look awesome with the wet stuff on it. Will you be going for a muddy/used look?

Hi Steve eventually it will be part of a redball express dio so it will be used and abused.

Managed to get a couple of coats of vma US olive drab on over the weekend. The kit is 90% assembled now but I want to keep the main assembles separated for ease of weathering.

Hi Colin
That is looking really good. The canvas cab cover is spot on.

Colin.
Agree with the other learned gents. Fantastic history about the Redball Express, an amazing achievement to manage to keep supplies getting to the front.
John.

Well executed Colin. Anxious to see your weathering.
Some notes from my Red Ball Dio. Vehicles authorized to ride the red ball were identified with a red circular plaque. Red ball routes were one way only. MPs enforced route rules strictly & patrolled for breakdowns. There were dedicated repair/recovery sites along the routes. There were other routes of the same type w/different origins & end points and different names over time. PauE
