That office repair and finish are superb. I'm sure you will get the wing sorted.
Cheers, all sorted now. But I am wondering if this is one of Eduard's slightly o!der kits. The surface detail is great, just the fit is a bit iffy in places.

looking good

this profipack is a new boxing of a 2018 kit, with some new parts.

It’s been a while, but I’ve managed to do a bit more. It looks Tempest ish now.

A few other bits and pieces have been sprayed ready for fitting. Now I just need a bit of camouflage.

Just found this build, sorry, hangs head in shame.
I do like the 'fettling' in post 7 with the. cockpit frame. Fine work.
Always liked the look of the Tempest.

Thank you all for hanging on in there with me. I’m not actually sure if the GB has come to an end, but I am plodding on.
This is why I don’t often build much in the summer months, normal life is too busy.

I’ve done a bit more.

D-day markings are all sprayed up. It wasn’t much fun masking a straight line around a tapering fuselage.

Ocean grey done and masked up for Dark green.

And then, fresh out of the spray booth,

I was really surprised to see the stripes had behaved themselves and ended up nice and straight.

Coming along very nicely Colin :thumb2:

You have until the end of September so plenty of time left ;)

Geoff.
