discussion Comet miniatures 1/8 dalek

It had to be built at some point and as I have a lack of mono for aircraft and ships
Getting a bit rare now I managed bid on this one with 20 seconds to go and I was the only bidder.
On with the pictures.
All the parts.
I have made a small start I have fill in the sink marks on the eyestalk and painted the dome after a sand down and replaced the kit mesh metal mesh.

Looking good Peter. I think I’d be tempted to paint the hemispheres before assembly though, they’ll be a nightmare once glued on….

Loved the Daleks, all you had to do was run upstairs and they were screwed then they made them fly :smiling5: :smiling5: good luck with the build and I totally agree with Tim

Well after a whole day's modelling (well nearly) has produced these parts mainly because I spent two hours sorting out the eye to my liking not quite central but not too bad.
And one eyestalk seated in the dome

It's now time to start the skirt and starting at base as it's portraying Tom Bakers destiny of the daleks the base is going to be deeper with the help of son pasticard it's the only bit of scratch on this one.
