I've decided to have a little competition to win a 2013 AK Interactive calendar, so what do you have to do?

Post no more than 2 pictures of your favourite model that you have built in this thread, I will close the thread on the 29th Dec and start another where everyone can vote on the one they like, the winner will be the one with the most votes

Only one model/dio per person

Wow John, that's like asking someone to pick their favourite child :)

I will give this some serious thought. Luckily,as I don't build as many as some,(you know who you are!) I don't have too many to choose from.

Cheers

Steve

As Steve said OUCH its like picking your fave child, but mine will be my sopwith camel, first build with some scratch built stuff https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/149701451736157/,like the prop and seat and dials

Well done Tony,I remember you building that.

In the spirit of Christmas I'll go second with Hasegawa's P-47. It was an easy build and I enjoyed the painting. Best of all it was a generous gift from fellow member Dave (Gern) who was labouring under the illusion that I had helped him out with a few airbrushing tips:)

I did try and do it justice!

With that I'm off to clean up the "posh" cutlery.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Here's mine....

It was great to trawl through my old pictures, as this, like most of my dios. went to the great recycling centre in the sky.

Here are a couple of shots of my Iwo Jima model....Perhaps not my favourite dio. but certainly the one I had the most fun making.....

Tony, do you remember, I forgot the Scale Model bucket and for a bit of giggle, posted the second picture to make up for the omission?

And now if you will excuse me, I am going to open a can (or two) and over the next few hours slide quietly and with great dignity, into alcoholic oblivion.....

Merry Christmas one and all.

Ron

I'm still very much on the steep end of the learning curve, so for me the latest finished one is always my favorite. That would make it the Tamiya Citroen 2CV I did a few years ago.

Happy New-Year everyone -Daniel

for me it has got to be my heinkel 111 .... my all time fave aircraft of ww2, waited a long while to buy it and really enjoyed putting it together ....
