O.k. folks here is the final phase 'The Capture'

I needed a suitable shape for this bunker, I found it in an old plastic plant pot.

The build is in the Normandy G.B.

The greenery is my usual stuff.

I've added some barbed wire, a scratch built camera, the S.M. bucket! and some general bits and pieces.

The figures are 1/35 Tamiya American G.I's, a couple suitably bent to suit my needs!

This bunker is just inland from the beach, and has just been taken by my buddies from the previous dios. Two soldiers are on top of the bunker with their 'Prizes' and are being photographed for the folks back home.....

Whilst the others are having fun, the radioman is sending a message to say the bunker has been captured and is scanning inland for any sign of enemy activity.

I have kept the picture numbers down this time, honest!lol Also, as there is no action, I haven't taken any B/W ones.

I hope you like the set and any comments welcome.

Thanks,

Ron

A fabulous dio there Ron, very lifelike and a true feel to whats going on, excellent job there :xyxthumbs:

Ron matey, the third installment lives up to the first two, simply excellent! A brilliant piece of storytelling and a superb result from such humble beginnings (by the way does mrs ron know you nicked her plant pot yet!?) The greenery looks perfect too, good garden stuff! The last pic is my fave ,i think because it reminds me of my first mobile phone !! i only replaced it a few years ago!! cheers mate . tony

Yet another little gem! Three individual stories that add up to something really special.
