Its that time of year again! we call on all men/women good and true (and a fair few dodgy characters too) to come together at this most excellent of shows. Its a superb show , held at the RAF museum Cosford in shifnal ,Shropshire .link here - https://ipmsuk.org/calendar/shropshire-model-show-2019/ and is packed with club stands and traders and is all situated in and around the three huge hangars that contain all the exhibits (aircraft ,a few tanks ,missiles etc) .As usual the Cosford Massive will be attending (you know who you are!) and it would be great to see a few new faces . We usually meet in the Cold War hangar (no2) under the Vulcans port wing up on the mezzanine at 12 o clock , then once gathered make our way to the cafeteria for the nearest thing youre going to get to a chimps tea party in these PC times!
Much eccles cakes and Tunnocks caramel wafers are consumed as the rabble excitedly discuss their latest additions to the stash. We usually have a little challenge for anyone who wishes to join in , to buy a kit at the show for less than a fiver and then build it within a couple of months , we get quite an eclectic mix of subjects . The show is free entry , but there is a small charge for parking (about £4 for all day i think) and is well worth attending so come on ,in the words of Delia ' lets be having you !' please let us know below if youre thinking of coming so we know how many to look out for , cheers tony
 
I've made a note on the big calendar In the kitchen, so ma'am can't double book me. I'm in.
 
You can add me as a definite, and unless PJ (my grandson) throws a wobbler between now and then, he'll be there with me.

Ma'am has suggested I could take dau no2 to her dance exam on that day. I respectively declined the offer, pointing to the HUGE calendar in the kitchen. Cosford is already on the calendar !
 
Can we have a Roll Call of members who will definitely be meeting up in the Cold War hanger on Sunday at 12 o'clock.

I ask because we don't want to be waiting under the Vulcan wing for folks, when we could be rooting under the tables for bargains - And scoffing Tunnocks (Other biscuits are available but perhaps not quite as nice!)
