I’m not a professional model builder, but taking my time with this particular vehicle. I believe I was able to get the paint as close to perfect as I ever have. Here are three pics of what I’ve got going on.
And so you should be. Well done.I am pretty proud of it too.
Certainly worked :surprised:This was all done by rattle can. I roughed up the surface to forgo primer and started with Rustoleum Chrome, then I moved on to 4 coats of Dupli-Color anodized purple. Then 5 coats of clear, followed by all the proper sanding, polishing and waxing.
That is some good advice. This is the second time I’ve had this particular paint job on this particular vehicle because the first time it looked really good and I thought I could improve it and all I did was screw it up. I had to get a new body and start all over again.Beautiful finish, now do not spoil it by trying to improve it.
One tip, when you attach the photo, if you put your pointer on the top left corner you can re-size it, click on 'insert' and then 'full image'. Then some of the sight impaired of us can enjoy your work even more. I am not sight impaired, it's just the Gin blurs the vision....
