Made a start on the body. Primed all the other parts. As you can guess not going as the rally version but I am basing it on one I owned in grey. Mine didn't have the proper ford racing wheels but these ones are quite close. Another bonus mines was LHD on German plates. Need to see if I have a set of Deutschland plates in stock lol

This is a very comprehensive kit so will take me a lot longer than my usual production line ones 😂

They were my plates when I lived in Germany, and I never had a Cozzy - I’m so reporting you to the authenticity police

:ROFLMAO: kidding, I did live there, but my dad had a thing for Talbot Alpine - and I was 10 - you’re OK...
unfortunatly my plates were hamburg ones

Apart from my finger mark on the rear door glazing seems to be going well. Chassis completed

If the glazed bit with the finger mark is still loose it will be easier to rectify.
Use some fine grit wet n dry abrasive paper to rub the finger mark out. It will now look like frosted glass. Get some liquid like T Cut and polish it until it becomes clear again.
If the part is stuck in the body use some masking tape on the surrounding area to the window to protect it then do as above. HTH.

Well quick test fit to make sure the chassis is level and everything fits correctly

Very nice. I had a Scorpio 24v with the Cosworth engine years ago, that thing pulled like a train.

Interior complete. Unfortunately I can't get the finger print off of the rear window as it's actually etched into the plastic. Really not happy with that 😡

Looks nice, perhaps you could cut the window like it would be in the down/open position?
