Hi all
A bit of advice please.
I have always used Micro Sol and mostly found it to work well. Sometimes needed a few applications but generally decals snuggled down OK. The decals on my helicopter refused to behave. My question is what do you recommend as a decalling solution which is maybe a bit more aggressive and may work better on unresponsive decals?
Thanks
Jim

If you want aggressive try Mig Ammo.

I got some from Johns shop and it ate the 1/72 number plates I tried to use it on - they just disintegrated into little specs

Maybe pure vinegar or alcohol, as this is the base of micro-set and -sol, but haven't yet tried it myself

Solvaset is stronger than Micro-sol/set, but maybe not as strong as the Mig Ammo. PaulE

Thanks guys. I'll make a note of your suggestions and add to my shopping list for Telford.

Humbrol DecalFix is a bit different, in that it is a one bottle solution
never tried it on a matt finish, although it's supposed to work without silvering............
