A massive and devastating internal fire has totally wrecked this Abrams Main Battle Tank.

The suspension has collapsed with the intense heat, and the wheels have splayed under the weight of the tank, which now lies burnt out, resting on its belly.

Trumpeter 1/35 Abrams Tank. I designed and built the buildings, which are painted in cheap poundshop acrylics. The rubble is chopped up off cuts from the building construction. The general dust is sweepings from here and there, sprinkled over the whole base. Plus a gorgeous deep blue sky as a back drop!

All brush painted.

I hope you like the end result. Rather too many pictures, I'm afraid - Sorry.

Hi Ron
Superb. The photos could be real. The tank, the buildings, the groundwork and the photography - all brilliant.

Very nice and so realistic, well except for the blue sky, I'm not falling for that one. Oh wait............

Well Burger me!
That is outstanding Ron, everything just works to pull it together; even that wonderful blue sky. I would bet it would also look great with a dawn/dusk lighting, a bit of smoke from Mrs. Ron's pipe and bobs your mothers brother.
Just one question: Just how many frozen pizza's do you eat!?! lol

Cheers boys!

Ian - 5*! Great stuff. Thank you....:thumb2:

Scottie - Thanks to you too - Pull another pint for me!

IanM - Good idea, but I doubt we'll see the sun for some time.......We've run out of wacky backy, so she's off the weed at the minute!:upside:
Re- the Pizzas. The yellowerer buildings in the rear are nicked from my IDF M60 - A1 'Blazer Diorama, and are made from Pizza bases. The latest lighter coloured buildings are made from foam board. Simply because my wife bought me a whole pack of the b****y things for my birthday, so I gotta use them now.....

Thanks again for all your excellent posts.

Ron
