Don't be alarmed if I disappear for months on end as I have to decide to ditch the technology and screen time to concentrate on building as yesterday with no screen time and phone off I built one half of a airfix 1/24 hurricane that's how much technology gets in the way of building.
So until the next time stay safe.

Fair enough mate, but don’t isolate yourself completely. There is more to life than building models.

Good call. If I was good enough at this hobby (ha! Are any of us ever 'good enough'?) I wouldn't need all the excellent expertise available on here. The inspiration provided by other modellers' work on here is wonderful, and it's also lovely to have my efforts appreciated by people who understand the effort involved - you lot. Otherwise, you wouldn't see me for dust.
And smartphones can indeed eat your life. They are designed to be as addictive as possible. I've certainly benefitted from massively reducing my screen time - I now only use Whatsapp, and that in moderation - but make sure you don't chuck the baby out with the bathwater.
