Some will already have seen that Edgar Brooks recently passed away. We have lost a gentleman whose knowledge of the Spitfire was second to none and who freely shared his hard work and research with all who were interested. He will be sorely missed by many, including by those like myself who never knew him personally.


May he rest in peace.

I hadn't heard about Edgar's passing Steve. Although I didn't have much contact with him, his knowledge was certainly comprehensive & he wasn't afraid of speaking his mind!


A sad loss
