Chocks away! Awesome attention to detail on such a small scale. A lovely group of photos of what is a wonderful build. Well done sir:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Thanks Steve. Always nice to have positive comment from a modeller whose work is of such a high standard as yours.

Good looking Spit Jim. Base sets it off well....as does the pilot.
Top drawer.
Cheers

A very well executed build. Well done. Every time I see a Spitfire as good as this one, it reminds me, time to build another.

Andy, Simon, Tim and Colin - your comments really boost the mojo.

Al Deere's Spitfire, really nice result Jim. You might enjoy this video. Brendon Deere, Al Deere's nephew, restored Spitfire PV270 in NZ and it is flown in his Uncle's markings around New Zealand.

PS: TURN UP YOUR SOUND ;)

Hi Joe
Thanks. Those videos are really interesting. Such an iconic aircraft. Must be a real thrill to see it flying.

Jim .
Sorry I only caught the " tail end " of this , I did comment on the hat on the blog.
Beautifully done, I can see you doing more wingy things after this .
