Fantastic work colin , looks a good kit , i must admit im getting a lot of satisfaction out of little 1/72 kits recently

1:72, yes I agree. My last build was a 1:48 Javelin, it took forever. 1:72, it could be the future, as long as my eyes hold out.

Right you clever lot. Can you see the problem?

Brilliant, simply brilliant! I wish i had the inspiration patience and eyesight to go to that level of detail!

Colin, you're a craftsman in the art of model building!!

Miko (inspired and intimidated in equal measure)

Three things come to mind all concerning operational efficiency

1, with out wheels take off's and landing will be a bit scrapey on the runway!
2., the wheel problem is mostly negated by not having a propeller!
3, this is probably best because the pilot can't see where he's going because you painted out the windscreen!!

Ha!

Miko(sadly can't see the real problem being referred to?)

Good effort Miko,
Wheels, so last year, they just add weight.
So you can't SEE a propellor
And the pilot can't SEE either.
SEE were we're going here, I missed the aircraft's eyes off, having just applied the satin coat as well.

Easily fixed Colin. If you hadn't have said anything we would never have noticed. Looking very nice indeed.

These 1/72 Eduard kits are usually rather nice. You've made a great job of this. Love the detail in the cockpit. MRP is a superb paint if you can cope with the smell of lacquer. Eyes are a simple fix.

Well I pulled my finger out, and finished the Hellcat. Pics will be in the completed thread.
